Will Shahrukh Khan go with Hollywood Superheroes by Ra One
Ra One, the most expected Bollywood superhero film starring Shahrukh Khan has vast opportunity both in terms of profits and India film making values
The Indian Mainstream Movie manufacturing or Bollywood has been in the public interest worldwide of belatedly for different reasons for instance mega budgets, improved value of film making, worldwide acknowledgment (We all know Slumdog Millionaire) and obviously partnership by their Hollywood complements. Bollywood’s association with superheroes is not a new one and there have been quite some hits and misses; typically misses until newly. Two superhero movies which have actually made it into the ordinary cinema are Krissh starting Hrithik Roshan and the high financial statement tap Robot starring the one and barely Rajnikanth.
Ra.One by Shahrukh Khan which is now being greatly promoted is said to have set a latest standard for the Bollywood superhero type so far with the extraordinary effects being compared to Marvel Studios. The movie is one of the costliest until now in the genre for the Indian Industry. The on the whole production finances for the movie is expected at INR 15Bn or USD 33 Mn and the unrevealed marketing budget is similarly hefty. This budget includes an assortment of the standard movie marketing coupled with “new age” promotion (for Bollywood) which includes internet, merchandise, gaming along with mobile apps.
As far as the music score is concerned (which is central to the achievement of Bollywood movies), it was at first wondered that Hans Zimmer would be doing the background score, but this was ruled out. On the other hand the soundtrack does swank Akon and The Prodigy.
As far as the production is concerned, the complete special effects and technological aspects are chartered from Hollywood specialists like Robert Kurtzmen for designing, Nicola Pecorini for film making, Martin Walsh for editing and Resul Pookutty for Sound effects. Primarily the film was set for a summer 2011 release although post production work with 3D conversion set this support by a few months. The film is now planned for the 26th of October 2011.
There has been massive rumor about the storyline with the movie being evaluated to Iron Man and Kendrict Rupert’s Voltr. Official declaration and blogs expose that G One (the superhero) has the capability to shoot electrical energy from his hands due to a childhood accident and will pay a war against the awful guys, including Ra One(the villain), to save the planet and his lover.
